Metronet

METRONET in Western Australia is a comprehensive public transport initiative designed to transform Perth’s rail network and support urban growth. The project involves the construction of new rail lines, extensions of existing lines, and upgrades to stations and facilities. Key elements include the Morley-Ellenbrook Line, the Yanchep Rail Extension, and the Thornlie-Cockburn Link. METRONET aims to reduce congestion, improve connectivity, and foster sustainable development by integrating transport and land use planning.

Since 2017, Agonis Group has provided METRONET with substantial engineering advisory, construction planning, and management services. The Public Transport Authority in Perth has engaged us to provide expertise and advice on projects within the Perth Metropolitan Rail Network, including bridges, stations, and infrastructure configuration. Our multidisciplinary program of works includes constructability, maintainability, deliverability, risk assessments, cost estimation, utility management, scheduling, methodology, and procurement strategy for rail systems, roads, civil structures, and buildings.
