Level Crossing Removal Project

The Level Crossing Removal Project in Victoria is an extensive infrastructure initiative aimed at improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing public transport efficiency by eliminating dangerous and congested level crossings across the state. Managed by the Level Crossing Removal Authority, the project involves removing 85 level crossings by 2025, constructing new rail bridges and underpasses, and upgrading stations.
