Geelong Fast Rail

Agonis Group provided Constructability Services with the brief of developing a construction program and methodology to inform the project environmental approvals, project program and budget estimate, and suggested improvements to the concept design, which was still under development. The project scope at the time was from South Yarra to Geelong.

The review included track alignment and track form, traction power substations, overhead wiring and feeders, signalling and train control alterations and structures and civil works, including the construction of new bridges, modifications to existing bridges and the creation of a new rail crossing under the Princes Freeway. Agonis Group was subsequently engaged in providing management of the rail operational modelling required to support project scope and budget decisions to ensure that the project objectives are met.
