Project Controls

Without project controls, you have project chaos.

For our nation’s infrastructure to be built, we need the right measures in place to manage and control project complexities. Without correct management, we too often see project budgetary, program and quality risks transpire/incarnate into a reality that requires significant time and resources to rectify.

Our Project controls team gather and analyse project data to keep costs and schedules on track. The functions of project controls include initiating, planning, monitoring and controlling, communicating, and closing out project costs and schedules.

Our project controls practitioners sit within the Project Team, work for, and are responsible to the Project Manager. They are the heart of the Project Team for managing and reporting.

Project Controls are about the necessity of being aware by “informing, monitoring and analysing” – to exercise the control needed. Our team generate and maintain the information that brings awareness to senior leadership on large infrastructure projects so that informed decisions can be made.
