Adam has over 17 years’ experience as a rail engineer with expertise in all facets of multidisciplinary rail construction. He is unique within the rail industry with strong knowledge of civil, track, signalling, overhead traction and control systems and the disciplinary interface management required for success. He has worked through the whole asset life cycle and has a strong understanding of design, construction and maintenance of rail assets.
Over the last 16 years, Adam has worked on landmark projects including Regional Fast Rail, Middleborough Rd grade separation, Springvale Rd grade separation, and the ARTC South Improvement Alliance. His key involvement on the Regional Rail Link: City – Maribyrnong River Alliance demonstrated his value where he led the development of innovative planning and staging that delivered the project six months ahead of schedule and significantly under budget. Recently Adam was the construction manager for the Cranbourne Pakenham Rail Corridor project for the Rail Transformation Consortium before the re-packaging of these works.
Adam has advanced design, constructability, staging, programming, and estimating skills, providing clients with the ability to reduce risk and cost throughout the project life cycle. He has high-end writing skills and has produced numerous business cases, and was the author of the Asset Management Plan for the Melbourne Franchise bid (MTM). Currently, Adam is providing engineering management services to LXRA and overseeing the development of Performance Specifications for DPTI in Adelaide.
